a touch of nobility

thanks to the Ralph Lauren Home sale, i was able to get a pair of their Noble Vase Table Lamp: a perfect addition to my bedroom.

a really expensive tv tray

yesterday was the knoll warehouse sale and i had purchase a black Saarinen End Table thinking that it was perfect table in between my wassily chairs, but as it turns out, it was also the perfect tv table. i was not going to admit that i was looking for a tv tray/table as it would mean that im guilty of sitting on my sofa in front of the tv whilst eating, but in the end, if i was to do so, i might as well do it in style. right?!

a star is born

Paul Smith "Star" rug by The Rug Company was not my first choice. This is somewhat uncharacteristic of me to have such an "aggressive" item in my house but I must confess, it is growing on me. We shall see if I have star quality to pull it off.....

good things come to those who wait

5 months that is. Yes. i did say 5 months. i waited for my new headboard that long but it was well worth it. it is even better than what i had imagined it would be. the leather is distressed enough to balance out the old world charms of the nail heads and tufting.
